Our Mission
We believe faith doesn't just happen on Sundays. At Calhan Country Church we believe in being a light for the Lord on the Eastern Colorado prairie. We believe in sharing the joy of the gospel and living a life that embodies the spirit of Christ.
OUR PASTOR
Bob Gentzel
Bob and Jamie moved to Colorado a few years ago from Florida, after serving churches in Arizona, Alaska, and Washington.
He has had the privilege of serving as a pastor for 30 years, as well as a Bible college teacher and church consultant. He came out of “retirement” to serve Calhan Country Church.
Jamie works for Big Sandy Schools, focusing on reading programs. She enjoys playing piano at home and in local churches. Bob and Jamie have three grown children, living in Hawaii, Alaska, and Colorado; and seven precious grandchildren.

We support various missions projects throughout the year.
Homeschool CO-OP
